EJC 2005 Ptuj - The days before Three days before the opening of the 28th European Juggling Convention there were already several volunteers building up the big tops, fences etc. And it's worth mentioning that two caterers cooked for the whole crew twice a day! |

EJC 2005 Ptuj - Sunday The official opening of the 28th EJC! Last preparatins are being made and in the afternoon the bar opens. People play a first round of volleyclub and Luke Burrage hosts the first open stage... |

EJC 2005 Ptuj - Monday The rain started to flood the site, but some jugglers used it as a possibility to train volleyclub under extreme conditions... in the afternoon there was the parade which led the jugglers to the opening show in Ptuj with a few first juggling games afterwards. |

EJC 2005 Ptuj - Tuesday There were no main events on Tuesday, so everybody tried to stay as dry and clean as possible. One way to do so was to visit the gym which unfortunately wasn't really close to the site. |

EJC 2005 Ptuj - Wednesday No spectacular events again, but the business meeting where the jugglers decided where the next EJCs will take place. And the winners are: Greece where the EJC 2007 will take place and once again Karlsruhe which will hopefully host the EJC 2008. |

EJC 2005 Ptuj - Thursday Here comes the sun! The mud began to dry and people started to juggle outside. In the evening the Fire Garden could open for the first time and attracted fire jugglers and watchers alike. |

EJC 2005 Ptuj - Friday On friday there were the water games. To be precise: two runs of them. At 15:00 there the first round started so the press peolpe could get nice pictures and at 20:00 the official water games were held. |

EJC 2005 Ptuj - Saturday And suddenly it's the last day of the convention... there was a second monastery show in town, the finales of the street performers competition and of course the usual array of silly juggling games :-) |

EJC 2005 Ptuj - Sunday Here comes the rain again... and most of the jugglers who didn't leave on saturday got quite wet while packing their stuff. See you next year in the sunny Ireland! |
